Moving to the U.S. or any other foreign country brings a whirlwind of adjustments, particularly for those arriving alone. At first, even seemingly simple tasks – such as finding a place to live, learning local transportation options, and understanding how to navigate the city – can be overwhelming. Majority of the suburbs in the US have minimal public transport, necessitating a car, a local driver’s license, and knowledge of traffic rules that differ from those back home.
