CIVIL SOCIETY MUST SUPPORT THE VOICELESS

In a democratic country like India, how can our Governments (Central, State, and Local) be made effectively accountable to the concerns and demands of the weak, the voiceless, and the suffering?
Governments understand only political pressure. The weak have to organise themselves for non-violent political action,
use of the media and legal action to assert their human, economic and organisational rights whenever possible. Power has to be acquired. It is not granted.
